Do you have a physical symptom that has recently occurred, and it coincides with a recent loss? So, if you have just lost your:
- job
- house
- relationship
- health insurance
And you have noticed a "new" physical problem, they may be connected.
This certainly is a time of uncertainty with people losing their jobs or their homes. EFT can be a powerful tool for these times of not knowing what is coming next.
What is important, in my opinion is to get to what is underneath a condition. For example, I was commenting on a post made in the EFT Forum on Pain. The topic of the post was: "Unknown symptom and cause".
The person had a problem with his ear. I suggested that he should go deeper than the problem with his ear. Here are some set-up phrases that I suggested, Even though:
- I don't know what is causing this problem with my ear, I deeply and completely love and accept myself
- my ear may be trying to tell me something, and I don't know if I am ready to hear what it is...
- I am in sales and I am not able to pay my bills, and I don't know what to do...
- my body is trying to give me a clue, and I am not sure what it is...
I suggested: Before you start tapping rate the ringing and numbness--so you know where you are starting (this is an important step, and one that I forgot to do many times when I was first getting started). Then say the above phrases, while tapping on the side of your hand. Then when you tap on your body points use something like, "this ear symptom" as a reminder phrase. After a round or two of tapping on your body using your reminder phrase, continue tapping while tapping and ranting and get it all out:
- I don't have any insurance
- my life is not in balance
- I can't pay the bills
- I don't know what I am going to do
Keep going until you get everything out--get out all of your deepest fears and whatever is inside of you. Then when there is nothing else left, stop tapping and ask yourself, what is the message that your ear has been trying to tell you. Listen. Check your ringing of your ears and numbness.
When the intensity gets down to a 3 or less, start affirming:
- I am whole and complete
- I am connected to my higher self (or whatever you call it)
- things are working out
- I remember to breathe and relax
- when I get scared, I breathe into my fear and relax
So, if you have just lost your:
- job
- house
- relationship
- health insurance
And you have noticed a "new" physical problem, they may be connected. Tap on the loss that you are feeling, and take time to Tap and Rant, and get it all out. Then see how your physical problem
is. You may be surprised to see it getting better.
